1. Can I pick up my backpack rentals in person?

Sorry, we are a delivery only service in Canmore. We do not have a storefront.

2. Can I rent from Rentabackpack if I do not have a Hotel or AirBnB in Canmore?

Yes! I frequently meet hikers who are driving through Canmore at the Coast Hotel. ‍

3. How much does the delivery & pick-up cost

The delivery & pick-up is all part of our service & is FREE!‍ ‍

4. How does delivery & pick-up work?

You pick the gear you want, follow the prompts asking for dates, times, location of pick up and delivery & I’ll contact you within three hours or more before delivery.

5. Do you deliver in Banff?

Depending on the dates and timelines I can, but as a rule I rarely deliver to Banff.

6. Do you rent bear spray?

Yes! It is advisable for everyone in your hiking group to have their own bear spray.

7. Do you rent hiking poles?

Yes! It’s wise to have them to take the strain off their knees ‍

8. Do your Backpack Rentals include bear spray?

Yes! All backpacks include all gear listed on the page which includes bear spray, poles, water bottle, etc.

9. Can you deliver outside your posted timelines?

Sometimes! In many cases I am able to accommodate hours outside my posed ones. If not, I offer a Drop Box location that can be accessed anytime.
